Terms of Use
The software provided via this website (hereafter referred to as THE SOFTWARE) is freeware for non-commercial use and is provided under license. By acquiring and attempting to use THE SOFTWARE you agree to the License Agreement (click here to read it) and acknowledge this Disclaimer (click here to read it). In particular you agree not to hold Dr Paul J. Tadrous liable for damages of any kind resulting from the use or attempted use of THE SOFTWARE.

The Freeware: BiaQIm Image Processing Suite
The BiaQIm image processing suite comes in 32 and 64 bit versions and is only for MS Windows (XP and later versions). The suite combines the latest versions of 3 software packages previously distributed separately: 1) BiaQIm - a GUI program for general image processing (for screenshots and a list of the main features visit www.Bialith.com), 2) the Biaram suite of command-line programs, 3) FATCAM - a GUI front-end for 3D volume rendering. For help on using the command-line console see this website.

Simple Step-by-Step 2D Deconvolution with BiaQIm
The BiaQIm image processing suite comes with a simple 2D deconvolution demo as standard which you can follow using the step-by-step guide present in chapter 11 of the BiaQIm user's manual and also available separately as a PDF download.

DemoBlind: Blind Deconvolution of a 2D Image
This demo contains all data and batch files you need to perform blind deconvolution of a 2D image and also demonstrates the GUI capabilities of my deconvolution software to allow you to see the deconvolution as it happens (the dislay is set to udate every 5 iterations in the demo but this can be adjusted by you). It does not contain the deconvolution software, however, so you must first have downloaded and successfully installed the BiaQIm image processing suite before this demo will work. Read the ReadMe.txt file that comes with the demo before attempting to run it.

Demo3D: Deconvolution of a 3D Volume
This demo contains all data and batch files you need to perform deconvolution of a 3D volume (a stack of 2D images) and also demonstrates the GUI capabilities of my deconvolution software to allow you to see the deconvolution as it happens. It does not contain the deconvolution software, however, so you must first have downloaded and successfully installed the BiaQIm image processing suite before this demo will work. Read the ReadMe.txt file that comes with the demo before attempting to run it.

Demo1D: Deconvolution of a Sound File
NOTE: THIS IS NOT A SIMPLE DOUBLE-CLICK DEMO BUT REQUIRES YOU TO BE FAMILIAR WITH THE USE OF THE COMMAND LINE. See this website for an overview and tutorial on the Windows Command Console.
This demo contains all data and batch files you need to perform BOTH convolution AND deconvolution of a 1D signal (in this case a .wav sound file). It does not contain the deconvolution software, however, so you must first have downloaded and successfully installed the BiaQIm image processing suite before this demo will work. Read the ReadMe.txt file that comes with the demo before attempting to run it.
This demo also includes two additional programs to convert the .wav sound file into a raw 1D signal for processing and then to convert the processed 1D signal back into a sound file for you to hear the results.
The first of these programs is called WavtoRaw.exe and is heavily based on source code authored by WolfCoder (click here to see it) and then modified and compiled by myself for this demo.
The second of these programs is SoX.exe (SoundExchange). This is Open Source free software written by Chris Bagwell, Lance Norskog and sundry contributors. This is released under the terms of the GNU General Public License (click here to read it)
The executable files WavtoRaw.exe and SoX.exe contained in this demo are provided 'as is' without warranty of any kind and by acquiring and attempting to use this demo you agree that Dr Paul J. Tadrous will not be held liable for damages of any kind resulting from the use or attempted use of these executable files.
